PRESS RELEASE

IRCO COMMUNITY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION & PHILLIPSBURG SCHOOL DISTRICT

EDUCATORS WALL OF FAME

The Phillipsburg School District has a long and successful history of providing quality educational programs and services to the students enrolled in the school district. For all students to benefit and reach their fullest potential, these programs and services have been delivered by a dedicated and highly qualified number of educators, administrators, and support staff.

IRCO Community Federal Credit Union initially began conversations with the Phillipsburg School District regarding the creation of a recognition program to attract attention and honor educators and support staff who have had a profound impact on the children of the Phillipsburg School District. Based upon several meetings between IRCO officials and the leadership of Phillipsburg School District, we are pleased to announce the establishment of an Educators Wall of Fame.

An Executive Steering Committee began the process of creating the Wall of Fame program. A Working Standing Committee has also been established with their major responsibilities to solicit nominations, select a yearly induction class, and plan a ceremonial induction program. Individuals eligible for nomination shall have served the Phillipsburg School District for a minimum of fifteen (15) years and shall have retired from the Phillipsburg School District.
